Why the old text is not kept here

That page was written in the first person. It described a review desk, promised impartial coverage, and listed features — casino filters, personalised topic feeds, a bonus section — that this site does not have. Left in place, it would read as a statement by the current edition about itself, and none of it would be true. The archive keeps published material; it does not keep a site’s claims about its own staff.

What this site is now

Keep It Legendary is an editorial desk covering video games, the hardware they run on, competitive play, preserved media and screen adaptations. Who writes it is set out on the about page, and the rules it works to are on the editorial policy page.

What was kept
