Disclaimer

This page explains what Keep It Legendary is, what its articles can and cannot be used for, and where responsibility lies when something on the site turns out to be out of date. Reading the site means accepting the points below.

A publication, not a seller or an operator

Keep It Legendary is published by Dunevista Studios FZCO. It is an editorial site and nothing more. It does not sell games, consoles or components, does not run tournaments, does not host servers and does not offer any form of gambling. No gambling licence is held, since no stake is ever taken and no winnings are paid. When an article names a manufacturer, a studio, a league or a casino, that company is responsible for its own products and services, and any agreement you make is made with it, not with this site.

Explainers are not professional advice

Much of the hardware coverage deals with practical questions: why a graphics card whines under load, when thermal paste needs replacing, how a power supply copes with a new component. Those articles explain mechanisms; they are not repair instructions written for your particular machine. Opening a console or a PC can void a warranty, mains electricity can injure, and a lithium cell that is punctured or overheated can catch fire. If you are unsure, take the device to a qualified technician or to the manufacturer. The same goes for advice-shaped passages elsewhere: no paragraph here amounts to legal, financial, medical or technical advice tailored to you.

Accuracy and the age of a page

Every figure, date and quotation in a current article is attributed, and the attribution sits on the same page. That does not freeze the world. Games receive patches that change how they run, firmware updates change how a device behaves, tournament organisers rewrite their rulebooks between seasons, and prices change by the week. An article is accurate as of the date it was last revised, which is published in the page metadata. Before you buy, install or enter anything, check the current information from the company that provides it.

Figures that come from other people

Specifications, benchmark results, viewer counts, prize pools and release dates are reproduced from manufacturers, publishers, organisers and measurement sources. The desk checks that a number is quoted correctly and says where it came from; it cannot guarantee that the original source got it right. Where sources disagree, the article says so rather than choosing the more convenient figure.

Emulation, mods and old software

The retro section discusses preservation, emulation and region locks. Explaining how something works is not permission to do it. The site hosts no game files, firmware images or cracked software and links to none. Whether you may copy, run or modify a particular game depends on its licence and on local law, and that question is yours to settle before you act.

The gambling archive

Between 2020 and 2021 this domain published material about online casinos, slots and bonuses. It is kept in the gambling archive as a record of what was published, at its original addresses, with offer cards, rating tables and sign-up buttons removed. It is not maintained. Bonuses described there have long expired, several of the operators named have since left the British market, and the rules have moved on: wagering on a bonus may now be no more than ten times its value, a cap the regulator introduced on 19 January 2026. Read an archived page as history, never as a current offer or a recommendation.

Only adults may gamble for money. The British minimum age is 18, and every operator taking customers in Great Britain needs a Gambling Commission licence. If play has stopped feeling like a game, yours or a relative’s, the National Gambling Helpline answers free of charge on 0808 8020 133, BeGambleAware lists further help, and GAMSTOP blocks access to all licensed online operators with a single registration.

Paid placements

Some outbound links in the archive are paid placements, and an article in Dispatch may be commissioned. The desk’s own explainers are not for sale, and a payment does not change what they say. How the money works is set out under who pays for the site.

Other websites

Articles link to manufacturers, publishers, regulators, archives and reference works so that you can check a source for yourself. Their owners are other organisations; the pages change without notice and have their own privacy and cookie practices. A link is a pointer to a source, not an endorsement, and the publisher is not responsible for what you find or agree to on the other side of it.

Images and trade marks

Photographs are used under the licences named in their captions, most of them from Wikimedia Commons. Each game title, console name, team crest or logo mentioned is the property of whoever holds it, and is used only to say which product a piece discusses. Its presence does not mean that any of those owners has reviewed, approved or sponsored the article.

Limits of liability

The site costs nothing to read and comes as it is. As far as the law permits, Dunevista Studios FZCO accepts no liability for loss caused by reliance on an article, from a decision to buy, install, modify or play something, from a lost stake or an expired offer, or from a period in which the site is unavailable. This page does not cut back liability for fraud, for negligence that leads to injury or death, or for any other liability your own law does not let a publisher shed.

Applicable law

The site is written mainly for readers in the United Kingdom, and English and Welsh law governs this disclaimer. Readers in Scotland, Northern Ireland or abroad keep every consumer protection their home law grants.

When this page changes

The disclaimer is revised when the site changes, for example when a section is added or the archive is restructured. The version published here applies from the day it appears. Reuse of articles is covered by the terms of use, data and cookies by a separate notice.
